Welcome to Harewood Infant School. We hope that our website gives you a snapshot of life at our school, as well as providing up-to-date information for our parents and children.
The children are at the heart of our community and we pride ourselves on providing them with a strong start to their time at school. We share our site with Harewood Junior School where our children continue on their educational journey.
Harewood Infant School is a special place for children, parents and families, staff and goverors. We celebrate every individual and provide them with the support, confidence and right level of challenge to acheive their goals. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the young people that we work with; we want our children to leave us with the knowledge, skills and understanding to be successful, lifelong learners. In addition, we provide a high-level of pastoral care because we know that all children need a happy, caring and safe environment in which to thrive.
Visitors often tell me that our school has a warm and friendly atmosphere and I continue to love working here after 18 years at the school. To get a real feel for our school, please do come and visit us. We warmly welcome visitors and appontments can be made through the school office.
