Harewood infant School is a nurturing and inclusive school committed to giving every child the best possible start to their learning journey. We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead the strategic development of our SEND provision.
This role is ideal for a skilled practitioner with a strong understanding of early development and a passion for supporting young learners to overcome barriers to learning. You will work closely with staff, families, and external professionals to ensure early identification, effective intervention and a warm, inclusive environment for all pupils.
The successful candidate will hold QTS and the NASENCo or the SENCO NPQ (or be willing to complete it within 3 years of taking up the post). They will be committed to promoting high achievement and inclusion for all pupil and will bring strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
